Economy hits dog bones.... check your expiration dates before you buyI have been going to this store for the past 8 years. 6 days ago I purchased a box of California Health Bars for my dog. After getting home, I looked at the box only to find that the expiration date was in the past. I tried to return them today 2/24/09 (6 days after buying them) and I had the dated receipt for the return. I was told by the woman that you have to return items within one day but no where does it state this 1 day return policy, not to mention they sold expired dog food at the full retail price. I had to argue my point in order to get them to give me a refund. Above all, customer service is one of the reasons I've supported small businesses and don't go to box chain retailers. I will not go back to Western Feed & will do my best to share w/ everyone that they are selling expired food/bones at full price and not disclosing or discounting it. If this is a box that slipped thru the cracks....then fine....but don't argue w/ me and not let me return it. "a very dissapointed long time customer" |

Greatest Store Ever!!!This is by far my favorite store along with the other two locations of course! They helped me find the perfect food for me and that wasn't easy considering the allergies I have. Their selection is great and their prices are amazing! I would recommend this store to anyone, forget about those huge chain stores like Petsmart and Pet Co., support the smaller guys who actually care about us and our well-being! |
