Animal Shelter

Animal Shelters can be awful, nasty places. This place is not. It is clean and well kept. The dogs are well cared for. They are vigilant about home inspections, matching the dogs to suitable owners, etc. In my experiences with this shelter, I've found the staff to be kind, caring well informed and no-nonsense. They answer questions, take time for queries and I've found them to be nice people with difficult, often heartbreaking jobs. Milo had gotten lost early on when we moved here. I was able to hang my flyer, check the clipboards and go looking in the shelter proper every day he was gone. The staff was supportive and empathetic at all times. Milo was found near the house so I joyfully went down and removed my flyer. Some of them wanted to come out and meet him, too! We got to know them and they, us. If you ever want to get a pup, I would recommend these guys!
