Campgrounds 675 Dead Horse Ranch Road Cottonwood, AZ 86326 This park along the Verde River Greenway, shares a unique ecosystem, in that their Cottonwood/Willowriparian gallery forest is one of less than 20 riparian type zones in the world. There are also many trails to explore. Dogs are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in park buildings or ramadas. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground.
