Old Golden Helps Old Man Through Heartache

Richard Lloyd and his comforting companion, Sophie

USA Today pet blogger Janice Lloyd posted a poignant story yesterday about her father, age 93, and the dear 9-year-old Golden Retriever who has been giving him comfort when nothing and no one else has been able to. The dog seems to know exactly what her WWII veteran friend needs. It is a sweet, touching story, one I think Dogsters will really appreciate.
