Many of you may have heard that the Jacksonville, Florida Humane Society was recently burned out. Many dogs and cats lost their lives but the good folks of the society are doing what they can to rebuild. They desperately need our help to get back to helping our furfriends.

I normally don't publish email addresses but I did in this case so potential donors can contact Cindy directly.

Now here's my pitch to all those giant corporations like Proctor & Gamble -- You guys are right now in a pretty bad place with us pet lovers. How about you donate a lot of food and supplies to this Society and maybe it will make us all feeel a little better about you. No promises, mind you. You have a lot to make up for but at least this way you can start the good faith effort to someday being accepted by the dogs and cats of the world again.

Thanks to Cindy for barking in!

I know this may be a long shot but our local shelter has burned and as a local citizen I am asking for your help or any help we can get:
