Dogster Daddy knows him as Pack Leader; the rest of us know him as Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan. Now we can all learn a little bit more about him. Caesar was nice enough to answer a few questions about his views on life and more.
Joy — Which philosophies and writers do you look to for ideas and help in understanding life? How do you meld these philosophies with your work with dogs? Which books, writers or other resources do you find useful or helpful or just interesting?
Cesar — Deepak Chopra, Anthony Robbins, and Dr. Dwayne W. Dyer are a few people I admire very much. I just want to learn as much as I can about simplicity, common sense, and motivating and empowering people, so that when I give a seminar, I am delivering with all this essence. Its not just me speaking. All these people are a part of my message.
And my grandfather. He may not be a published writer or a philosopher, but I learned much of what I use today with my dogs from the example he set.
Joy — What new things, events or messages will we be seeing from you in the near future?
Cesar — I have a lot of exciting projects coming up!
My 2007 Seminar Tour begins in September. I will be speaking all over the country: Los Angeles, Baltimore, San Antonio, Seattle, Miami, Newark, St. Louis, Atlanta and the San Francisco area. Tickets are already available online on my website.
