Here is a great way to help a charity raise money. You probably use Yahoo to search the web, right? If you use GoodSearch (which uses Yahoo) then each time you do a search, you are raising money for a charity! Click on the Veterinarians & Public then enter the data for your city and state to find a licensed ophthalmologist for your precious furbaby. 4. In Hope: An Animal Shelter Story
Robert Valentine, a pre-vet student & vet tech at an animal shelter in Central California started a photo journal of unusual cases to share with other students. While working on an animals rights project for a social ethics class he turned his journal into a short movie: 'In Hope.' The movie is a powerful commentary on pet over-population, animal cruelty, and how these issues affect not only animals but people, too.

These two statistics alone are enough to have many check out this website which allows you to view known registered offenders and predators in your neighborhood. Knowing who these people are and what they've done helps to make you and your family AWARE. It is a free service...so check it out.
