One thing to consider is that, normally the better the quality of dog food it is, the higher priced it is, but you may find you need to feed less, since the lower-priced foods have more filler and less nutrition. Looking at the recommended feeding amount on the back of the bag is a place to start in determining how much to feed, although I've found that many of the manufacturers, in my opinion, overstate how much you should feed!
Assuming you're in the continental U.S., many of the mail order places ship at a reasonable price, which opens up more possibilities.Edited by author Wed Dec 5, '12 10:48am PST
