Trying to say goodbye

Whether a dog dies, is lost or stolen, or must be placed in a new home, this is the place to gather together to give and receive love and support when you experience the loss of a beloved dog.

Bogie is now 13 and is also losing the use of his front legs. I know it is time but I just can't let go. Going to the vet's this morning but I am not sure why. I thought it would help to come on Dogster and talk about Bogie but just like time there are just not enough words that could describe my best friend of 13 years.

Dear Bogie & family,
I'm so sorry to read what you're going through. It is never easy to part with a loved one, no matter how long you've been together. Having just lost my Gem last week, I try to find comfort in knowing that we'llbe together again some day. The Dogster(Catster too) community is made up of very caring and supportive folks too. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
*hugs* and *meows* (from Tux),
Karina & the O'Rourke clan.

Dearest Bogie, you will know when it's time for you to go, and you will tell your loving family. Nothing is harder, but they will help you however they can and be with you, loving and supporting you constantly. My heart is aching for you and your beloved family-- I know this pain intimately, and my tears are falling for you.........
