	Mom just wanted to pass along a general warning for all you big breeds (especially). Within 7 days, her clinic had 2 German Shepherds present with torsions (twisted stomachs). This is such a scary situation but because the owners were on the ball and noticed their pet's distress both guys are doing well. They got into the clinic and the docs were able to perform emergency surgery. Please, if you're not familiar with Bloat or Torsion (Gastric Dilitation Volvulus - GDV), do some quick reading. If you own a large breed or barrel chested dog it's worth it to know the symptoms/warning signs. Early intervention is the only way to save lives.
