I used the nutro with venison for my guy that had allergy problems. It seemed to help him feel better and he liked the food also. May be worth a look

I did hear that sweet potato can also give dogs bad gas. Just something to think about before feeding alot of it.

Dog Health > Why do ppl get breeds of dogs that have bad health issues and not do anything to help it?

I think a lot of the problems have come about from the designer breeds and owning a certain breed just to look cool like people on tv. The breeders are more interested in making money then putting out a good line of dog. No one does the research about the breed of dog anymore. Before I got my first show dog, I did much research and I knew what problems could come with them. I really do not know what to do to help this problem unless we go to very strict breeding laws for these people.

We also had seasonal allergies all of my dogs life, he would look terrible in the summer and then have a great coat in the winter. I would switch his food, and it seemed like it did help him to not be as bad. We used a limited ingredient formula of venison and lamb just to switch it up for him. It was not a cure, but it kept it from getting to bad.

I know what you are going through. I had a puppy years ago that the specialist told me was the worst they had ever heard. The last post gave slit if good information about diet and other things so I will not write it again. Just wanted to let you know they can live a long time with a heart murmur but a vet check is a nice idea. Good luck

With great sadness, I report that Kazba very unexpectedly passed away. He just seemed to shut down and went very fast. He was fine the day before, but he at least passed away at home with his family. I will miss him very much.

A lot of show people trim the dogs whiskers all the time. It does not hurt them
