I have both a Cocker Spaniel and a Corgi mix, and can vouch that little Brevin has aspects of them both!

That is one cute dog! I think I see the Corgi. Maybe Corgi/Spaniel. I send this posting from Dubs who is a Corgi/Whatever...I think you can see some similarities.

My little Dubs had tiny little folded up ears when she was a pup. It was so adorable. But they stood up, and probably so will your pups when it is time. And if not, it will still be an adorable pup.

Behavior & Training > Why does she do that?

Our Dubs is a little bit like that...she is a natural heeler and is almost always walking tightly near my right ankle. She gets bumped in the head sometimes!

She is also a little on the timid side, but becomes defensive when someone or something strange appears...

Since we have several dogs, she gets time to run with her pack and she is comfortable doing that, but I think she would be annoyingly velcro if she were an only pup.

Cute baby you have there!

hey, Flicka...sounds like fun! We have snakes, but few poisonous ones. Last night Dubs was trying to burrow under the fence again...in exactly the same spot as before. The little knucklehead digs a little and then yanks the wire fence until she gets a gap and there she goes.

She doesn't go far, but I don't want her doing this. It is the one thing she is pretty bullheaded about.

Dubs wants to challenge you on that whole "crazier" thing, though.

Wow. Just so striking! I do see what you mean about the build. Dubs is much lighter bodied. Of course, that might be whatever else she is.

But Harper is a beauty!

Guest, would you consider posting a pic of Harper? I'd just like to see the type. As I said, I had never really considered Corgi's and was kind of surprised to find one in the shelter. I don't actually see that many of them around, so considered them somewhat rare to the area.

My guess is that Dubs has something like Papillon mixed in with her. She is a little bit leggy and has a kind of "dainty" structure - not as sturdy looking as a purebred Corgi.
