They were rehomed a couple of years ago but it seems like yesterday. Her mom & step dad gave them away & she dosen't even know why. She cries a lot during the day. And it makes me sad. I try to comfort her, but there's only so much I can do. She wishes she could visit them, but she has no idea where they are. Sparky Hurricane Ike- Pound Puppy     Barked: Mon Nov 2, '09 6:14pm PST  Lilith, the problem is, I never knew when Sparky was about to potty in the house. He never sniffed, he just did it. So our only two choices were leaving him out there until he went, (which didn't work, he chewed up stuff in the backyard all the time) or showing him what he did and said "NO!" in a stern voice (which is the technique I used). I basically used the tapping technique for biting problems (which WASN'T puppy biting). He wasn't trained by fear, he still knows I love him, and I would never do anything to hurt him. But when it comes to potty training, you have to be stern, and serious. That's what I'm trying to convey. my posts | my page | msg me | my family's posts | gift me | become pals [notify]
