1. Everyone I know who brings their dogs to dog parks had had them come home sick at some point.
2. I don't know these other dogs or their training or temperament.
3. She's a pit bull. If something happens, they always blame the pit bull.

I like the vanilla idea, I need to run that by my sister.
What I do is put some instant coffee grounds on the floor and vacuum them up when I first start a bag and then every time I vacuum it smells like coffee, not like dog hair.
The Dyson I just use as is because it doesn't get that funky nasty smell.

Food & Nutrition > Is Two And a Half Cups Too Little

| Barked: Sat Apr 2, '11 9:37pm PST | | | | | You can't go by what someone else feeds their dog to figure out how much to feed yours - we feed Peanut just under 2 cups of Blue Buffalo (adult) a day and she weighs 47 pounds (she needs to lose 2-3 tho).
I would go up 1/4 cup and see how it goes, you might need to bump it up 1/2 cup.
He's growing and pro'bly very active!
Keep weighing him. And if you are still concerned, ask your vet.

American Pit Bull Terrier > Pitbulls and dog parks?
Peanut
Will work for- food |
| Barked: Wed Sep 16, '09 7:08pm PST | | | | | I don't like dog parks. Every dog I know has gotten sick after going - gerardia (sp), ear infections etc.
The combo of off leash, dog poop and a creek or lake ... eek.
Peanut is friendly towards other dogs and most other dogs like her, but some dogs hate her on sight. At least if she's walking around with us on leash we can control the situation better. Just today a corgi tried to pounce on her!
She does have dog friends - they come over here or we take her to their houses.

Very cute! It will be easier to tell once she's all grown up...
