There is a caption card that has been in Mission Control in Houston for many many years... it says........ "When all else fails....read the instructions" Many of them didnt.. many had to improvise.. 250,000 miles and vacuum from home... they managed... Lucas Did I hear- cellophane- crinkle?     Barked: Fri May 17, '13 12:28pm PST  Talker.......No... .....what made me choose that title "Big and/or Small" was a photo I took of a clump of House Leeks.. called "Hens and Chicks" here. Hens and Chicks ~~~ called House Leeks in England Country lore has it that if they grow in the moss on the roof .. the house wont be stuck by lightning... It isnt at all that one "type" is "better" than another. Its what YOU want.. what YOU are comfortable with.. and what YOU want to use it for. The cameras theses days are so good... there is a type for everyones needs and wants. I LIKE your Canon alot.. and Canon will always have a place in my heart because of my beloved Canon AE1 that sits now in my closet. I just cannot afford to use film anymore. Get your camera if you can.. love it.. enjoy it.. take pics everyday..it really focuses your eyes on the world around you. Right now I am doing a 365 Project here.. and loving it. Lucas Did I hear- cellophane- crinkle?     Barked: Wed May 15, '13 6:15pm PST  OHH Missy.. you and those TREES !!! Wonderful ! Bryce.... My Dad's was circa 1941 or 2... It went all over India and Burma with him... I still have pics taken from it then. It took the first pics of my brother(b.1946) my sister (b. 1947) and me (b. 1955) and yes.. I still have those !. I took my first pic with it when I was about 4 or 5... The first camera that was my very own was a Brownie 44a (first came out in 1960) and I got mine as a "special" birthday present for my 7th birthday. Yes.. the alpha 65 is all my presents til Xmas 2016.. and that isnt exaggerating. I have the 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses.. but need the macro(the other Sony is still being used on a daily) So.. I am saving for that. I would also love the better zoom.. but that is as much again as the camera was... so thats just not going to happen for now.
