Hailey Sweet as- chocolate     Barked: Sun Jul 25, '10 12:12pm PST  Since we rescued Hailey, our chocolate lab, I'll admit that she does have a lot of energy. The good thing about lots of energy is she will never get tired of learning. Hailey learned to pick black berries, apples, and peaches. There is nothing wrong with Chocolate labs. My brother sleeps on her and she has always put up with everything. If you have a chocolate lab I would recommend having an activity (like collies) such as agility, dock jumping, or flyball. Most those dogs I call mutts and give people a weird look when the ask me for what ever a new backyard breeder made up. I volunteer at the local shelter. Labrador Retriever > Reds!? A healthy choice for the breed or not!

The only problem we have ever had with her is her energy level (we let her in and she runs for 20 mins straight) but she lived 4 years of her life in a dog run so I feel bad for her.
