We've fostered this breed many times, and know it inside and out. BC's of the hound world Can't disagree with that! ....They thrive on consistent and ample attention. High-strung but loving and eager to please.Treeing Walker Coonhound's very intelligent. They are often described as a very anxious dog. Because they're very energetic & were bred for very severe physical exercise. They are born natural hunters, so I would say they need constant mental stimulation and exercise.
