I broke two lower canines (chewing rawhide at age 11) and had to have root canals on both! Max (In- Loving- Memory) More bones- please!     Barked: Fri Jan 20, '06 2:59pm PST  I had itchy skin too, I was allergic to almost everything. My whole life I was on prednizone (steriods), which helped quite a bit. I discovered that certain food/treats made it worse (Rawhide seemed, OK thank goodness!). I switched my foods to IVD brand at the recommendation of my vet, stopped eating dog biscuits and my itching problems seemed to get much better.
