Hi!

So Vetstreet.com came out with this list of 12 most talkative breeds, and beagles were listed right at the top!

I disagree with this, and I wrote a post explaining why on my blog: http://www.lifewithbeagle.com/2013/08/beagles-most-talkative-dog-bre ed-no.html

what do you think? I don't think beagles are really talkative. I think they're loud.

My Lulu is a trained dog, and she will still run about when she is off leash at a dog park or such.

There is a lot of debate about whether to keep your dog intact. I suppose if you can guarantee he won't accidentally create little beagles, there's nothing wrong with it. I've also heard that intact dogs can be more aggressive, but never when it comes to beagles.

Hi!

I'm starting a series on my blog about beagle quirks. I started with the nose. smile

I was wondering if you beagle lovers could help me out by telling me some of your favorite beagle quirks. Then I can maybe shed some light on where they come from.

Beagles are actually pretty quiet dogs. Lulu only barks when she feels she needs to. They are loud barkers, but they are not loud in general.

And I think Izzy is a very cute beagle mix.

Hi!

This is a great story I wanted to share that highlights the importance of microchipping your dog. This pit bull is finally going home to California, after disappearing 3 years ago. He was found in FLORIDA!

Dogster Lifestyle, News & Entertainment > Is DoggyLoot.com a ripoff?

My mom has gotten some great deals of Doggy Loot. She got 2 Hear Doggy toys for $15, for instance, and she got the snuggle buddy dogs for $27. I know they retail for $40.

The prices aren't always as comparable, but in general I think it's a pretty good site.
