We use Tropicana shampoo but I heard Plum Silky is amazing. Has anyone tried that? Thanks!

Accidents happen but this could be a sign of a bad breeder who only cares about money and not the dogs' welfare. If she is a careless breeder, your dog can also come with health issues along with being taken away from the mother too soon. Maybe you should go with another breeder? If you have your heart set on that puppy, then I would call your local vet and tell them the situation and see if you are missing anything. You should also schedule a visit with them anyway to have your pup examined. I got my Pom at 10 weeks and I felt that might have been too soon. I can't imagine 8!
Good luck! | | | | |

It has all the basic breed-specific information you need to know about raising a Pomeranian. Then, if you are getting a puppy, I would read Cesar Milan’s book, “How to Raise the Perfect Puppy”. I read both of these books before purchasing my Pom pup and they really helped me.

Pomeranians have trachea issues and my breeder told me to never have him wear a collar, and I have read it in some books as well. My dog has all his tags on his harness when we go outside but he stays in the nude in my home. They can suffer from trachea collapse if they have a collar and it gets stuck!
