My daughters dog suddenly started having a sore gunky ear and some scabs around the face area. She switched to grain free food and the problem cleared up. Now last week it started again only worse, so now she is trying grain free, poultry free food. if that doesn't work is there any suggestions to what else might be bothering him.

I think it fine if done how you said. In flyball they are doing Boarder/Whippet cross, The Boarder half for drive and concentration and the whippet half for speed. Its working good.
