Dog Health > Itchy eye and keeping it closed? HELP PLEASE

Foxy ultimate lap dog     Barked: Sat Jun 30, '12 6:50pm PST  Foxy was fine and we were all laying on the bed then I realized she was keeping her right eye shut(was not the case 5 mins prior). She then started scratching with her paw. She seemed so miserable. I have tried to flush with her eye wash and with water and she's still keeping it shut, scratching and looking at me so sad. I don't see anything in the eye so I'm not sure what it could be. I know she has allergies but it usually affects her left eye and she doesn't scratch it with her paw. I called the Vet(while they were open) and they said it might be a Cornea Scratch and they're not open till Monday. One thing is that she doesn't keep it shut ALL the time. Any ideas of what it could be and what I can do to help lessen her misery? On the instructions they gave us, we were told to bring her on the 21st if we didnt feel comfortable removing her stitches. Like I said the drive is long so I waited for my BF to come back in town and he did it. It was pretty easy like you guys said. Foxy ultimate lap dog     Barked: Thu Aug 18, '11 1:25pm PST  Today is the 10th day after getting spayed and I wont be able to drive to the Vet until next week to have them remove for me. The picture is below and I just wanted to be sure that it looks good enough to remove the stitches and any tips?
