I'm sorry for your loss. On your profile there is an option to indicate that your dog is no longer with us. To do this go to Community, then click on Account. Go to your pup's profile then click on Modify Biography & Traits. Go to Story and there you'll find "Dog's name Is no longer with us". Check the box to indicate this on your profile page. You can also add the date in which your dog went to the Bridge if you'd like it to be memorialized on your page. Just be sure to save any changes you make.

You can also indicate this by editing your dog's profile name by going to Modify Biography & Traits and finding the option to change your pet's name. You can also add an indication or memorial to your page by adding a "Pet Motto". (The Pet Motto will show up under your profile picture in the forums as well as on your page.) To change the Pet Motto, go to Account, Edit Biography & Traits, Fun Stuff, Pet Motto and then you can write whatever you'd like as your Pet Motto, just make sure to save any changes you make. Hope this helps!

You should consult a certified dog behaviorist, not a trainer.

You might want to check out Pure Balance. It's sold at Walmart and it's actually made by by Ol' Roy, but it's far better than the rest of the Ol' Roy line. Do you have any feed stores or tractor supply stores near you? Sometimes places like that have decent selection of dog foods at lower prices than specialty pet stores might. Also, congrats on your new addition!

The OP is from the UK, some of those brands might not be available in the UK.

If I remember correctly, Dr. Tim's and Fromm are available in the UK. Another one to consider might be Farmina, but that one might be kind of expensive though.

I don't know about support groups on Dogster, but there are some good ones on Yahoo that people kept suggesting to me. Might be worth a look. They are called K9Kidneys and K9KidneyDiet. Sending hugs to Dibbles and his mom. hughughughughughughughug

Growing like a weed, huh? From the photos the plaid coat (if that's the same one) looks huge on her! I'm glad Koby isn't lonely anymore and that he likes her. Scruffy was one who needed to have another dog around, otherwise he'd be really, really mopey. Lily seems to be enjoying being the only dog right now and I'm not sure if that will ever change. lol
