We just got our package today. Hubby is so annoyed that I didn't order multiple bags. We usually pay $70.59 for one 30 pound bag of dog food. We got it for $40.99. Thanks so much for passing on this deal, Uno. Money has been really tight for us. This helps a lot. cloud 9

Delta, I'm sure you're going to be a well informed mama. big grin I wish you two the best of luck getting started on that human kid. cloud 9

Like Delta, I feel sad when I see people buying bad things for dogs and kids alike. There was a huge sale on food, and my husband saw these women with their kids, just piling the most sugar filled cereals and sodas money could buy. confused

I think we've just reached a point in our society where processed foods are easier, cheaper, and hey, they say they've got all these great vitamins. Food labels can be tricky. The experts change their opinions all the time on what's good for us and what's bad (egg debate, anyone?). Most people aren't aware what they're eating could be killing them, let alone their dog's food. People today are too busy, too stressed, overworked, and under paid. While it makes me sad, it's completely understandable that people are unaware.

Sally, I've heard a few stories like that. In addition to the dog version, there's one about a guy who gets assaulted by an attempted mugger. To defend himself, the guy breaks the muggers arm. He is then jailed for assault.

I don't know how many of these stories are correct and actually happened. The way I see it is, so many wrongs happen in our society, that this is entirely believable. That, whether or not the stories are true, is extremely disheartening. That we could all see this happening because our justice system has failed us so many times. cry

Most of our dogs have done fantastic on Orijen, Wellness CORE, Solid Gold, and TOTW. TOTW always seems to be a crowd favorite. I'm convinced someone put doggy crack in the food. laugh out loud

I have numerous Petsmart horror stories. I wish our local one would just get shut down. confused I shop at the slightly overpriced boutique because supporting rescues, getting good quality items, and excellent customer service is far more important to me than saving less than a dollar.

This made me so angry, I started a reply multiple times and never finished it. It was quite inappropriate for these boards. shh Instead of truly expressing the depth of my anger over this crap, I will simply leave it at this; It really ticks me off that our PRESIDENT would support an animal torturer. I am disgusted. That is all.

My extended family is full of really rude people. They speak their minds about everything, even if they're totally clueless about the topic. I'm often called a "wasteful ______" for feeding my animals "food that was meant for human consumption". Oh what an awful person I am for being so wasteful when other people have to go without. naughty I'm also often reminded how all vets say you can't give dogs any bones, because they'll choke.

Yeah, there's a point where you have to just stop caring with certain kinds of people.
