And we tried vet wrap. It didn't keep the socks on her feet.

The baby socks would only stay on if they have Velcro attachments, or sock suspenders. We've attempted baby socks in the past!

She doesn't wear them often.

She's worn the Muttluks out on Glass Buttes for rockhounding obsidian, when we had a freak snowy December in 2008 so she wouldn't cut herself on the layer of ice partway down, and again this February to protect her from the ice the freezing rain put down over the snow we had.

We always have them with us when we travel or hike.

It took some getting used to at 1st but now we put them on her and head out with no paw shaking or high stepping.

The hardest part is getting her paw into the boot because they are tall so it's like putting socks on her. But shorter ones wouldn't stay on her feet.
I saw one set on the website Nicky posted that has a sock piece that wraps around the leg.

Anybody have suggestions for dog boots for warm weather? Chance has Muttluks for winter and I have a feeling they would make her paws too hot the rest of the year.

The neighbors just spread a weed preventer granular all over their front yard and it's one of those harmful to humans and domestic animals, if it makes contact with a living creature call poison control or a physician for treatment recommendations, deadly to aquatic life, lasts 3 months products.
Plus they doused their side of the street and the sidewalk with Roundup.
Neighbors who have never used poisons before are using them this year.

So I'm looking for something that would protect her paws from all the poisons people are using but would not cause her feet to get too hot.

My parent's vet recommended they feed grapes to their last dog as healthy treats. She never had any problems. When I was a kid and my parents would expect me to eat grapes I'd always slip them to the dog since I can't stand grapes. They both died of old age.

That's good news but I find I can't work up much excitement or enthusiasm at this point. If another site like this one opened up, I would be happy. Especially if it was spamless.
