I love to make Peanut Butter Banana treats for my girl ! These are so good that you will never go back to something else. Hey when I can eat them too you know they are good ! The recipe calls for all organic ingredients, but I substitute regular sztuff as I can't get fancy organics where I live. I did buy the treat bags they recommend so we can bring some over to our other dog friends ! The recipe is at the link below

My favorite treat to make is Peanut Butter Banana for my dog. She really loves them and they are really easy to make. The plus is that I know exactly what is in them. I have begun making variations of this recipe every few weeks so we always have them on hand. They really are tasty, believe me I have had quite a few myself. The article uses everything organic, but I substitute with what I can find at the grocery as where I live we don't have all the fancy organic stuff ! I did buy the treat bads they suggest so that we can take little packs to our other dog friends ! Here is the link.

We had a similar situation when we got our last puppy. We were told that she was a mix of Golden Doodle and Black Labrador. We saw the mother, but the father was absent without leave ! I had grown up around purebred labs and had labs most of my adult life. We got the puppy at 8 weeks. Within the first month or so I started noticing that she had some behaviors that didn't seem lab-like. Also parts of her body type seemed a little off for what mixed breed we thought she was. What I ended up doing, and I now recommend this to everyone, because its interesting and fun, was to do a home DNA test on her. This is the one I used:

It's really easy to use and when the results came back we found that she was actually 50% German Short Hair Pointer, 25% Labrador, 25% Poodle !! We call her our German Poodlador.
