Food & Nutrition > Should I try Orijen again?

When I switched to Champion, I only gave her 1.5 cups/day but she still quickly gained a lot of weight. She is now getting 3/4 cup of Acana or Orijen/day.

Dog Health > Thoughts on no rabies vaccine in Texas

If you are found to have a dog not up to date, you would be fined and your dog may be immediately euthanized if he may have been exposed. Some fines are hundreds of dollars per day of delinquency. Most dogs in Mexico are not protected which means most dogs in Texas are at high risk.

Many also add specific herbal remedies. Best wishes...Lyme's is such a horrid disease.

The Bacon Biscuits are more trouble to make but the dogs absolutely LOVE them. I was thinking of trying the chicken broth and the cheese recipes...any comments?

BB says they MIGHT get here before the holiday...in the mean time, do I just buy another gift for the intended recipients - who knows, they never answer!

Food & Nutrition > What amount of kcals per cup is your super active dog on?

Member Since 06/03/2012 |
| Barked: Sat Dec 8, '12 3:17pm PST | | | | | I have an 18 month old setter who spends hours every day running in my large fenced yard with other dogs playing or chasing deer/turkeys/feral cats. She weighs about 50 lb and eats 3 cups/day of whatever Champion food I have on hand...mostly Acana chicken. Digestibility is as important, if not more so, than kcal/cup. Her 65lb father runs with her most of the time and he also only gets 3 cups/day. My relatively lazy 42 lb girl is plump on 1 cup/day. | | | | |
