When my teefies got cleaned, sometimes I would feel better a few hours later, and other times it might be the next day fur me to come around. She didn't think I would like it, seeing that I'm a picky eater. But I suprised her! As soon as she put it out, I started chowing down on it

H&E I'm eating, I'm eating That's all I've been doing all day. It's been non-stop the whole day I'm doing a great job eating my kibble today Tonight dad is cooking up some more fish fur me fur dinner and I'll get some boiled chicken fur tomorrow's dinner I miss eating all of my other favs, hamburg, steak and especially my milkbones I'm not allowed to eat that stuff anymore But I'm just as happy as getting my fish & chicken. Dogtor says those are good fur me.
Cheena, I'm sorry to see that you're not feeling well Mommy has tried to brush my teethies. She even has the smallest toothbrush you can get fur a little mouth like mine. I may be small, but I'm stubborn and put up a hell of a fight when she trys to brush them. I won't let her do it, so dogtor had suggested that she get my mouthy open some and put some of the biotene in that way. To at least get in on my gummys anyways. It's even got to be difficult fur mom lately to get my mouthy open to put my pills down my throat, she's now having to start to chrush'em up and mix with water and springe it down. And she can't even fool me anymore with trying to hide pills in my fish or chicken. I spit them out. Every pill gets springed now. Cheena, I hope you start feeling better very soon. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers

| | Barked: Mon Jun 8, '09 9:10pm PST | | | | | | I so happies to Jay-Jay And a big thank you goes to you fur starting this thread fur me.....Thank you and See the power of the paw and the prayers really do work. I'm feeling so much better today
Mom and I got up to go to work this morning. As soon as we got there, she put my kibble out and I went to town on it. bol Grab one, throw it in the air, eat it, and repeat till I ain't 20 kibbles. It only takes that much to fill me up We got to my dogtors at 11. Mom had to leave me there fur awhile, because the guy that was do to the ultrasound test wasn't going to show up fur awhile She came back at 5:30 to get me.
Mommy and doctor talked about the results. The good news is, is I don't have cancer growing anywhere Besides with having a broken heart, I have bowel disease She thinks that's what made me so sick. That's not the only problem to. My teethies aren't in great shape. This could be causing me pain to. And dogtor says, that I would be a high risk if they were to put me to sleep and tried to clean'em. I've had them cleaned in the pass, but my teethies always got so yucky fast.
There is also another test we are waiting on fur the results. Fur the pancreas. But mom & I won't know the results till maybe the end of the week or early next week. The blood work had to be sent out to the United States, because they don't do that test here in Canada. So part of me (my blood) is out in Texas. And I always wanted to travel It's been a long day and I'm tired and getting giddy.
Anyhowl, mom and dogtor finally finish talking and we were out of there. But not before she gave my mom some more pills fur me to take. My new ones, Metronidazole, & Tramadol that I have to take furever added onto my other furever other pills
I was so starving when I got home, dad already had my chicken cook fur me I ate that all up and than attacked my kibble. I spent the next hour eating kibble, but took breaks in between. Mom said I did good. Fur a little girl, with a little mouth, I sure did have a lot to say. That tired me out, I have to go and get my beauty sleep now
to all of you wonderful furs for wishing me well, the prayers and the gifts. It warmed my heart and made me feel better Thank you

With all of your pups get well wishes, thoughts and prayers and power of the paw, I woke up this morning feeling a whole lot better Mom and I believe that's what pulled me though! So thank you very much everyfur for all the thoughts and prayers you sent to me
I've been sick before, but not fur this long. Mom was real worrried that I wasn't going to make it. And it's nice to see her with a smile on her face now instead of tears rolling down her face. I was beginning to think my mom was nothing but a big cry baby
When I woke up, I grabbed a few of my kibbles and tossed them up in the air and than I ate'em. That's what I do with my kibble. Gotta make some fun with'em. Dad even went out this morning and got me a special treat....pickerel. Woohoooo my favorite. And no he didn't catch it. It was store bought. Who cares, it was delicious anyways. Whatever it was that ailed me, it even had effected my tail. That was broken too. But it's wagging again In fact, my whole body is wagging Even though mom says I'm doing much better, she still is taking me to the dogtor tomorrow so I can get my ultrasound test done. She really wants to know what set me off. I sure hope I don't feel like that again. It was just awful!

I still have some thank you's to get back to and I also want to send some good well wishes to other pups in need. If it can work fur me, I sure hope it can work fur them. But right now it's time fur me to take some meds and get ready to eat some more fish fur dinner. Mommy says we can come back here just before I head to bed.
So watch out squirrels! Misty is back! Yippeeeeeee
Edited to add. Yes, it's been a long time Tucker. So very nice to see you. And thanks fur the prayers too. I've had my heart condition fur a year now and I don't plan on going anywhere else until I get me a squirrel... Tucker | | | | |
