So exciting!! I heard that because so many people were disappointed in the last movie, the next couple are suppose to be spot on with the books. So I look forward to them.

Murdoc likes his crate. He eats in there and sleeps in there. It is definitely his den because we will often find the baby's toys hidden in his crate. He will not ever go to the bathroom in his crate. I started to try Brodie's advice by bringing him outside and if he does not go I place him back in the crate for 20 more minutes then let him outside again. I always praise him when he does a good job. He seems to be going outside more often and not so much in the house so thank you Brodie hopefully this works.

Thanks everybody that was really helpful. Especially now that I know I can transition Murdoc onto the same puppy food as the saint bernard.

Bulldog > taller bulldog?

Murdoc was supposed to be a Mini bulldog. He is very tall for a bulldog even though he has all the bulldog traits. He is also not heavy or as thick as most bulldogs. I found out Murdoc was an English bulldog because he is AKC registered as well. They do not register mini bulldogs. I'm about as confused as you in regards to my own dog. I will measure him later and let you know.

I am getting a Saint Bernard puppy soon. I want the best for my puppy. Price is not a problem. So I wondering what everyone feeds their giant breed puppies? Thanks.

English Bulldog!

1. We are lazy! I sleep a lot. But don't be fooled when the family is ruff housing I join in and hold my own.

2. We have lots of health problems, I myself have cherry eye in both eyes, I have sensitive skin and allergies, I also get ear infection often.

3. We are great with children. I have three boys in my family, 10, 5 and 1. The one year old likes to sit on me and act like he is riding me, I often just lay there and look at him like he's crazy if he thinks I'm walking around with him on my back. Do I look like a pony??

4. Hot weather is my not my friend. I go camping with my family a lot and if it is too hot I have to stay in the camper in the air conditioner but I don't mind I can sleep!

5. We are very stubborn! We loves our owners but sometimes have other things in mind than them.

wink Hope this helps, good luck.

Behavior & Training > \"positive\" trainer kneeing in the chest for jumping?

Murdoc

I think I would have walked up to the instructor and kneed her if she ever did that to my dog in front of me! That is wrong I have always been told to step forward into the jump to knock the dog off balance. Murdoc does not jump at all, I have instructed my children to do the same and he will not jump on them either. If I was her I would ask for my money back and find a better trainer.

I am buying my first Saint Bernard. Everyone says to make sure you are capable of feeding them before you think of buying one. Well our English bulldog I was told should only eat 2 cups a day from the breeder. Our neutered bulldog actually eats 4 cups a day and is very muscular not an ounce of fat. So I am wondering how much everyone eats a day?
