We think Sam sleeps all night. But we know from evidence found in the morning this is not true. Such as if we forget to take the kitchen garbage out, finding coffee grounds and paper towels etc on the floor. Or the give-a-way thump when she hears us stirring in the bedroom of her hopping down off the living room couch. Such a smart doggy. She's supposed to only be on the couch with permission. laugh out loud

Rain!!! Under the awning on our patio, sits our glass patio dinner table, and under that lies Sam's outside blankie. As soon as the first rain drops start to softly fall, her ear's start to twitch, and soon she is racing for her blankie, which safely resides under the table under the awning. She even walks around puddles on her walks. In the morning if its raining, when you open the door for the morning outside break, she'll excitedly run up to the open door like normal, stop dead in tracks at the sight and sound of rain,nd look up at me with a disgusted look that says "I'm not going out in that stuff".

I was traumatized because my human sister offered me a piece of banana and I turned my head, but she insisted I taste it even though I knew I did not want it, and put it in my mouth. I spit it out. Now she thinks it is funny to hold a piece of banana or a banana peel out towards me and ask me to investigate or eat it. Good grief, doesn't she get it, I DO NOT LIKE BANANA. So the only way to protect myself is to hide behind mom or dad. They know what I like!puppy

Oh we do have a picky GSD. Sam will not eat her kibble plain. No way no how. I tried the tough love thing. Stuck it out for two weeks and gave her plain good quality kibble. She barely ate. Because she was young and still developing, I gave in because I was worried about her health and physical development. We have to mix, homemade dog food or good quality canned in with her food, she especially loves chicken. But Sam will eat just about anything we do, if we let her. Well except for raw fruit. We are pretty careful with what we let her have, avoiding wheat and corn products. She does hate bananas though. Our daughter tried to give her one once and made her taste it. Now whenever she tries to give Sam a piece of banana Sam will run behind me and hide. laugh out loud It cracks me up, a German Shepherd hiding from a banana!
