I would have to say i agree alot with what was said about the Bullmastiff but each dog is very different! I am a first time dog owner and we have a 7 month old female brindle bullmastiff and she is wonderful. She's playful but she is LAZY she loves her sleep. I would say your biggest concern would be the little dogs becaue i know Sadie thinks little things are toys. But i will say I have heard wonderful things about Danes and we are thinkning that might be our next dog if we dont get another BM.

WOW! I am Sadie and I am almost 7 months old and I weight 72 Lbs!! I am also a taller bullmastiff so if your on the short side I would say a lighter weight will be just fine!

Hello all!!! We have a 6 almost 7 month old female bullmastiff. She is spoiled rotten I must say! But we are having problems potty training her. When we first got her she wasn't trained in ANY kind of way. We crate trained which was actually pretty easy and got her collar and leash trained. Now if we could just get her fully potty trained I would feel we have done a good job. At first she was going in her crate during the day. We did the divider thing and she continued going. Now we rarely had problems with her going at night. Now that the weather is warm she is outside during the day in her pen, she goes potty ...big deal she is outside, but just the other day she had just came in from playing outside walked right over to infront of the TV and pooped!!!! I have no idea why she had done this and why she just didnt go while she was outside. Please help me with any training tips you may have for me, this is just our biggest issue right now! Thank you all so much in advance.

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that we feed our Bullmastiff Eaglepack Holistic blend. I was going to put her on Innova but I was told that when they are pups that innova might be TO rich in nutrients for them. Sounded kinda weird so i did more research and we went with theeaglepack. She does wonderful on it! Her stool became better and you could see the difference in her body as well, she also wasn't hungry as much! Also don't forget to slowly switch your dog if you change foods because that can cause some of the stomach problems. Hope this helps!
