I've used that technique before, but more of a hold the bottom jaw than squeeze.

They can't bite if you hold it so they move away big grin

could be that he's guarding you's, try going over to him and saying its ok thats enough, back to bed.

My two guard me outside and relax when I tell them its ok smile


I also agree with sandy, take him for a big walk before bedtime

maybe tryin the victoria thing might help.

when roc and echo start to flare up, I massage their shoulder at side of leg and it calms them.
