People who think Huskies are supposed to be huge are my biggest pet peeve. Gyspy is 40 lbs. and I'm not sure how tall, but she looks about the size of Luka and Kiona in the pic, maybe smaller?
Anyhoo, everyone always thinks shes a puppy and has some growing to do. She hasn't grown in a long time! I always have to explain to them that she is pretty darn close to standard and this is how big Huskies are SUPPOSED to be. No one ever believes me frown

Oh boy, I didn't think of this silenced
Last year we had a fake tree and it was on a covered box to make it look taller so Stink couldn't even reach it to pee on it if he wanted to. He never actually showed interest in it though.

This year we are getting a taller REAL tree eek So it has to be on the floor and it's gonna smell pretty nice. This is going to make for an interesting holiday...

Please pardon the typo in the title, I really do know how to spell, promise!

I've been browsing local Aussie breeder and dreaming. I know an Aussie is going to be our next dog, probably not for a while, but I've been planning this since forever and want to make sure I do it right.

We don't know whether we are going to rescue or go the breeder route. It all depends on if we find the right dog for our family of pets and people.

I stumbled upon this breeder and their dogs really make me droooool! They are so beautiful! I just skimmed the site and liked what I saw, but I didn't see everything because I'm just browsing for now.

What do you think?

Its getting to be that time of year! Winter!!! And for a lot of short haired dogs that means sweaters, jackets, and blankets.

This question is many to short haired dog owners... At what temperature do you start to put warm clothing on your dog if they need it?

Stinky starts to shiver when it gets 50-40 degrees F. Thats just when he is shivering, I don't know if he is cold before that. I'm afraid if I put a sweater or jacket on him he will get too hot. I dunno. So what temp?
