Personally me & my owner are just shocked by the number of people who are supposedly for hope, change and tolerance in America today, but who are sooooo enormously intolerant and capable of finding almost anything in the world to get really angry and mean about...for no reason.

WHY don't people understand that opinions are not facts? That you can find a study somewhere to make or refute almost any statement (hence the rhetoric classes in college require you to argue both sides of an issue) and that there really are more important things in the world to get fired up ovfur than labradoodles and such!!!

In 2009, I am gonna be even better than I was in 2008, because Ernie believes it IS possible to improve on pawfection, especially if you can give 110%!

So to make the pawrents happier...Ernie hereby resolves that in 2009:
1. I will not run throught Mama's garden ( unless the squirrels, bunny rabbits, moles, birdies, or ground hog provokes me) and get muddy paws.
2. I will not mark any of Mama's possessions indoors anymore. If it's outdoors, it's fair game.
3. I will do my doggone darnedest not to give the Elvis snarly lip to other furs who sniff my hinder!way to goway to goway to goway to go

Here's David Wroblewski on the Today show this morning, talking about the book with Meredith Viera.snoopysnoopysnoopy

Strange coincidence, the VP of IT at Mama's company saw the book on her desk and it turns out the guy who wrote it was his college roommate. This is the author's first book and he spent his life creating software. Mama being a writer/literature lover never would have imagined computer geek could be so empathic and emotional. See, it's true what they say, you can never judge a book by its cover!!!!!blue dogblue dogblue dog

Hi Fenway!

Okay, last night Mom was too lazy to go upstairs and look at the book cover. The author's name is actually David Wroblewski.

If anybody else wants to read a more compelling review, go to Amazon and look it up!

Don't let the length intimidate you(500+ pages)! Remember this book was 15 years in the making. And what a debut. It's worth it.dancing

The author is Gary or Greg Wroblewski. It's his first novel, 15 years in the making and what a masterpiece.

My mama said this is a Pawtastic book for lovers of good books and dogs. It's getting rave reviews and on all the best seller lists. It's about a mute boy growing up in the idyllic rural Wisconsin countryside with his parents who breed and train a fictitious breed of dogs. A tragedy forces Edgar to flee into the wilderness with 3 of his dogs and well, mama said it's just a beautiful portrayal of the relationship between dogs and humans, wrapped around a great story.wave

Hi Scooby & Hooch!

Me & Izzy joined Dogster in July, too. We are having soooo much fun meeting new dogs like you guys.

There's a lot of stuff to figger out though. We finally had to tell our Mama what BOL means. Our mama's not too bright, sometimes. Maybe we can be friends.

See you at the Dog Park! Check out Dog Park USA!!!!!!snoopy

Wow! You Dogster guys are like the psychic friends network. I'm not kiddin'. My mama just came in the house all upset to tell Daddy that she just took a picture of a baby bunny the size of her hand in the front yard. She says she's worried I might get him.

You better believe I will get him. And I'll shake him until he don't move again.

Two months ago, I got a chipper that had taken up residence outside our front door. Mom was devastated and Dad was mad. Nobody likes it when I'm just doing my job.

Mom was even going to post to see how she can get me to stop doing my job of shaking, and stopping the tiny furry creatures from moving. Once they stop moving, game over. Ernie not interested.

So far I have "permanently immobilized" a chipmunk, 2 squirrels, 2 birds, many, many moles. Mama said I shouldn't be so smug. Moles are blind and slow, not much skill needed. I learned after the screaming and crying the first time not to bring the moles into the house. Never want to see that again.

So are you all saying, I'm right and Mama's wrong? I don't have to change? I can't change? All right. I can dig it.
Hey, how do I get that hamster? hamster dance

I went into fun stuff on my update pet profile page and pasted the link from my Rock You Slide Show into the big box. It says 300 in the view box. But the slide show still isn't appearing on the page. Ernie REALLY wants his slide show up, and you know how mommy hates to disappoint Ernie. ;>) Could someone give me some advice, pretty please?
