	Sending prayers to you Bandit. I have a sarcoma which was diagnosed on August 14th. My mom is sick with worry too and cherishes every day we've got together. I'm not sick; just like you I've got this nasty tumor in me that we're trying to shrink or at least keep from growing any bigger. We just lost Sheba to liver cancer in March and mom's not ready to let me cross Rainbow Bridge just yet, but will let me go when the time comes. Our lives are not long enough, but it's worse when we get a disease like cancer. Big prayers to you Bandit.

	Please check out my page for a picture of a cute little kitty. She showed up at our house yesterday, but mom says we can't keep her cuz of us three doggies. She is very friendly, but needs a home ASAP.

	Hello my furiend....thankfully one of the vet techs thought to ask me if I wanted some of Sheba's fur. I have it in a little plastic bag in the box with her ashes, but am thinking it should be in something else other than the plastic bag. I know the pain too well....I want to hug Sheba so bad that it hurts me. Big hugs to you and Casper. With Love

	OMD! I dropped in because of the subject and my heart and prayers go out to all of you dealing with the big C. I had liver cancer which was found after I'd crossed Rainbow Bridge. I'm only sorry we didn't know before it struck me down. Trouble is the vet put me on this Science Diet D/D food in December and now mom realizes after much reading it didn't do me any good and probably made the cancer grow faster. After getting a copy of my records from the vet's office she found out my blood counts and other counts were high and there was some notations about possible liver disease, cushings, pancreas, and other listed in the vet's notes, but mom wasn't told. If she'd known I may still be here with her today, but we'll never know. Can any fur tell me if a dog my age (13) could possibly have had a tumor removed and survived a year or two more? Mom is still hurting from my loss, but isn't crying uncontrollably anymore...only from time to time when something comes to mind throughout the day.

	I have that problem, but it's due to allergies. You may want to ask your vet, but my vet told my mom to rub vitamin E oil on it throughout the day. She's been doing this and it has helped. Sometimes I like to lick it so she has to rub it in for a minute or two to make sure it's being absorbed.

	OMD Stella, I hope you are okay. Thank you for all the prayers. I posted this in my diary so will copy & paste here cuz I'm too tired to write it all again: I spent the day at the vet's office undergoing blood work, X-rays, many tests, and fluid therapy. I am feeling a bit more perky now and can walk, but am very tired. It's probably from being up all night long. Hopefully mom and I both can get a good night's rest. The good news is the Pancreatitis test turned out negative, I have no abdominal masses, there was no obstruction or perforated bowel, and my liver is okay since my gum color improved after therapy. But if I don't get better by tomorrow's visit I will have to see a specialist to have an ultrasound, which gives an inside picture of the liver and could identify any absess if there is one. I sure hope I improve before tomorrow's visit. A great big thank you to all of my furiends who have been saying prayers for my recovery and sent me get well wishes. Big hugs to all the other furs who are feeling under the weather.

	Sheba is spending the day at the vet's office because her temp. was 103.5 and she had mild dehydration. She's got a "huge infection" and her white blood cell count is extremely high at 51.2. Scary right now so pawlease pray for her. For more details pawlease read my diary entry. Spike - Sheba's furbrother.

	You may all remember my thread about swallowing the stuffed toy giraffe leg. Previous Thread It passed Friday morning, but now today I woke up feeling sick. When mom gave me my regular medications I threw up approx. five minutes later. I've posted more in my diary. I threw up seven times total now and had a soft bowel movement that had a long yellowish mucus looking stuff and what appeared to be blood. Mom is going to call my vet first thing in the morning...that is if I don't get worse. I may have to see an emergency room vet if I get worse tonight. Please pray this is not anything serious. Any ideas or similar experiences you've had would be appreciated to help give mom ideas of what the problem could possibly be.
