marley, i'm sorry to hear about your mct diagnosis. i hope you are doing ok. i am going through the same thing and just had my second surgery. check out my diary for more information. my mct was a stage 2 (of 3). for the first surgery, we had the tumor removed without doing a biopsy, figuring even if it was benign we wanted it removed. turns out it was malignant and they didn't take a wide enough margin to get all of the cancerous cells, so i had a second surgery this past week. (in many respects, the process is similar to a human cancer diagnosis - radiation and chemotherapy are available if the situation warrants. we think the second surgery got it all and nothing further will be needed.) if you google, you'll find a few sites that generally all provide similar information. we're no experts but you might find my own story helpful. i hope everything turns out ok. later, fenway
