thats great smile
I dont really have the need to use it, but I thought it would be a good option for dogs who need a limited diet but are looking for higher protein levels.

I second orijen puppy or acana provincial, since the meat sources they use are doboned before being processed, they can then control the ammount of calcium in the food that put back in, making it suitable for growing pups.

I would keep him on core a little longer just to make sure it wasnt something else, or perhaps the 2 foods combination reacting with each other. Maybe an enzyme would help?

I got a sample of this food with my order from k9cuisine, it only has one grain which is rye and its 30% protein.

Maybe this would be a good choice for allergic pups?

I look forward to fostering rescue dogs, but if I ever get a place with some land I would love to get a caucasian ovcharka, they are just amazing dogs, but then again I'm a sucker for large breeds, I also always wanted to get a rottie or an akita. I also would love to rescue a greyhound, theyre so regal and beautiful smile

Food & Nutrition > Menadione sites?

This is from Wikipedia.com
"Despite the fact that it can serve as a precursor to various types of vitamin K, menadione is generally not used as a nutritional supplement. Large doses of menadione have been reported to cause adverse outcomes including hemolytic anemia due to G6PD deficiency, neonatal brain or liver damage, or neonatal death in some cases. Moreover, menadione supplements have been banned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) because of their high toxicity. Menadione has been used experimentally as a chemotherapic agent for cancer, ca 1945, but has lost ground to much safer, human form, vitamin K2 vitamers. Low level menadione is still used as an inexpensive micronutrient for livestock in many countries. Forms of Menadione are also included in some pet foods as a source of vitamin K."
