Do dogs need to be vacinated every year? I don't beleive that this is necessary and it seems that us senior dogs and small breeds are the most likely to have complications from the vacines. Is this because the vacines are one size fits all? I am not trying to get out of getting my shots but it does not seem right that I, a 12 yr old min-pin who weighs between 7-8 lbs should receive the same dosage as my brother a 22 lb Havanese. Is a small senior dog worrying needlessly or is there a reason to be concerned? Buddy and I are both indoor dogs and rarely come in contact with any other animals. I also have a indoor feline brother.
