Our mommy has to go back to school but doesn't know when yet (we just barely moved) I hope it's no time soon me Shakar and Jack will really miss her!cry She's going to be in the eight grade. Since down here there's middle schools she'll be in high school next year...snoopy

I'm sorry Spencer! My mommy knows how you guys feel we sleep in the basement because it's cooler down there and we live in what you can say is a desert. My mommy woke up last Saturday morning and went into the bathroom to put her make-up on so she could take me, Shakar, and Jack for a walk. she noticed a little bit of water on the floor before we left but didn't think anything of it. By the time we got back our basement was flooded so she called the landlord and guess what the sewer had backed up and flooded the basement so everyone had to be evacuated upstairs we all lived downstairs my mommy us, her 7 rats, 2 turtles,5 geckos, 6 fish, and 3 frogs. Saturday is laundary day so all of our stuff was in the landary room and it all had to be thrown away my mommy bought me a cute little sweater the day before that Shakar drolled all over and so she didn't even get to take a picture of me in it. cry So best wishes Spencer like I said before we know what it feels like so extra best wishes to you and your worried mommy!wisheshug

Service & Therapy Dogs > Cost of a service dog

Well Nikkia is training to be my service dog. And I've looked up quite a few thing on the subject. First your disability has to be one that the government agrees should need a service dog, second your dog needs to get hes Canine Good Citizenship Award (which just means he'll be safe in public) and get his service dog certificate. If you have a certificate from all puppy classes all the more power to ya but I don't think it's required as long as you are able to train her the right way on your own. I have had a lot of experience training dogs and if anyone needs any help or advice I would be happy to give it out. Nikkia is going to be a service and therapy dog so that she not only helps me but can also help other people. Nikkia and Shakar's mommy and daddy were both service and therapy dogs and they're owners gave me a lot of good advise that I would be happy to share with you! I've also attended many puppy classes and have a lot of knowledge when it comes to training dogs.
