All of us Sibes in our family and our humum, wish to express our sincerest condolences for the loss of sweet little Lucy. Mum spent hours getting out the posts to as many groups on Dogster/Catster the day we recieved notice of the petition and need to get every fur on it and working for a better outcome. She also spent hours getting the notice and list of contact people so that every one could contact and express their disappointment with the certain Elected officials. She is sooo upset and heart broken that we just didn't have enough time to "put the heat" on that One person who was sooo fired up to Kill poor Lucy. She has started candle groups for Lucy and will post the link so that the family and any one who wishes can read the messages and light a candle for this sweet little Angel, Lucy. Mum has 4 fur angels that helped her spread the word and we will be waiting for Lucy and make sure she gets wings and can fly over her family at night and sprinkle her special Angel Dust on them to let them know she is doing fine and will suffer NO more persecution by those Idiots who did it on Earth. She will be with God now and he will distribute his Justice to those that caused her death because she reacted like any animal would out of instinct in the situation. We hope her family has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in which we will get Justice for Lucy and them. From all of us: Rhiannon, Nomo, Long Day, Nikita (4 fur angels), Max, Bertie, Bubba, Rising Sun, Rascal, Mariah, Bill, Red,Kane, and Demon- We Love you, Lucy.

You are such a WONDERFUL person for helping the dog and it's owner the way you are. It would be nice if they would let and you could take her. As for heartworm test- that cost could vary depending on where you live and could run any where from $25-50. They have to draw blood to test for heartworm so it's not a cheap test. She could have regular worms also (need a stool sample for that) that would make her thin. That's not as expensive ($10-15). I am sure with continued help from you, she will over come the non-socialization that she has come from. She obviously likes being with you since she runs away and comes to you that often. Bless you for being her guardian Angel.

This is sooo heart-breaking. To hear that this poor little guy who has a small problem, due to NO fault of his, is now not wanted around and has to find a new home. Yet the other dog in the household is allowed to stay and be around the baby. We wish young people with babies would think twice before buying puppies that usually end up down the road looking for new homes. If you have any Bichon rescues in your area- you may want to consider them for the little guy due to the special needs.

My mum used Glucosamine Vitamins (1 a day in my food) and she got them at Dollar Tree (30 for $1) for over 5 years. There is also special Thermo pet beds you can get for them to lay on.

I had severe arthritis and my mum got Glucosamine vitamins in the Dollar Tree store for $1 for 30 and gave me 1 a day in my food. When she started to do this, I could not use my back legs and within a short time I was moving around with no problem. I had battled arthritis for a long time because the person who bred me, bred a wolf with a shelty so you can imagine the problem. I had Shelty legs, hair, head and organs with a wolf barrel body and chest. The vitamins worked for 5-6 years before I finally passed due to cancer.

The only use we know- is was used to treat tumors that were not operable on 2 of our dogs. It gave them temporary relie to keep from chewing or pawing at the tumor.

There is an other product called "Protecta-Pad" by Tomlyn. it's a paw pad and elbow cream. Mum uses it on all of our Sibes- has never had any reactions. It is made just for the problems your pups have and their causes. Check your local pet stores or pmail mum for where it can be purchased. It comes in a 4 oz jar that will last a long time. It restores lost moisture for the calluses.cheer

It is such a shame that this poor Law Enforcement Officer was left in a vehicle in heat to die!!!!! He may be 4 legged but he is still an Officer of Law Enforcement and deserves to be respected enough to be let out of the car with his Human Partner. Humans are supposed to be the responsible, thinking and rational part in the equation. All of these seem to be lacking here. Bandit deserves the respect and diginity that he should have had with a proper funeral. And the responsible party needs to be punished for his death just the same as any person who commits a criminal act would be.
