I HAVE THE SAME KIND OF PROBLEM WITH ROMEO. HE LOVES THE TOYS THAT SQUEAK. BUT HE IS OBSESSED WITH BREAKING THE SQUEAKER. confusedconfused
I HAVE KONGS, BUT HE JUST LICKS THE PEANUT BUTTER OUT OF IT, THEN LEAVES IT. confused
H WORKS ON THE SEAMS TOO. SOMETIMES I FIND SQUEAKERS LYING ON THE FLOOR.
ONCE I GOT A BIG, RUBBERY MONSTER THING THAT HE LOVED. AFTER ALMOST A WEEK, I THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS FINE. THEN ON THE 7TH DAY HE THREW UP, AND THERE WAS THIS WEIRD THING IN THE VOMIT. I PICKED IT OUT AND WASHED IT. THEN REALIZED IT WAS THE MONSTER'S NOSE!
SO THERE WAS $10. DOWN THE DRAIN! confused
I'M REALLY PICKY NOW ABOUT TOYS, BUT IT'S HARD TO FIND STRONG ONES HE LIKES.

I think you should keep the dog and put your husband in a cage.

HI XENA! wave SEVERAL MONTHS AGO, I WAS BITING THE BASE OF MY TAIL, AND IT WAS RED AND RAW. MOM TOOK ME TO THE VET. SHE COULDN'T FIND ANY FLEAS, BUT SHE SAID SHE BELIEVED IT WAS FLEAS, CUZ FLEAS LOVE THE BASE OF DOGGIES' TAILS. SO THEY PUT ME ON COMFORTIS TO GET RID OF ANY FLEAS. IT WORKED! I STOPPED BITING, THE HOT SPOTS CLEARED UP, AND I DON'T BITE THERE ANYMORE!
IT TURNS OUT I HAVE FLEA BITE DERMATITIS. confused shock
THE BASE OF THE TAIL IS A BIG FAVORITE PLACE OF FLEAS. EVEN IF YOU DON'T SEE THEM, THEY CAN BE THERE, AND THEIR SALIVA COULD BE ITCHING YOU, EVEN WHEN THEY'RE GONE.
LOVE AND LICKS, ROMEO

I am very surprised and disappointed at some of the sarcastic and contemptuous responses here also. Ridiculing others' observations is unacceptable here. I see the original poster has not returned--probably too shocked.

I THINK THIS FORUM IS A GOOD IDEA! I WOULD LIKE TO GET OPINIONS FROM PEOPLE WHO USE IT. I HAVE AGGRESSION PROBLEMS WITH LULU, AND DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY ON EVERY SYSTEM ON THE INTERNET. SO I'D LIKE TO DISCUSS IT WITH PEOPLE WHO KNOW ABOUT IT.

Wow! Lots of different opinions! My Maltese mix, Lulu, is very aggressive to strangers and unknown dogs, even sometimes familiar dogs and people. Just an hour ago she bit the plumber who came for an emergency at the downstairs neighbor's. I have to keep her on a short leash, yet she still surprises me at times. I need something that will work. A trainer told me she's an alpha, and I have to be the boss. I walk through doors first, etc. but she still lashes out. She seems to go into a frenzy sometimes. Any suggestions?
