Butterfly, Bones, and Bestoink all get Life's Abundance...best food around. A lot of premium foods have similar ingredients. But Life's Abundance is only cooked for 12 seconds (! true!) via steam extrusion so all the nutrients and enzymes aren't cooked out. PLUS, it isn't cooked and stored in a warehouse and then distributed to stores to sit on the shelves for who-knows-how-long! The food is cooked in a human bakery and then sent to its distribution center and out to customers. No bag will ever be more than 4 weeks old! Dr. Jane Bicks knows her stuff! And there is a money back guarantee on all the food. Not only my dogs, but many that have had problems (especially skin problems) and I've recommended that they switch have cleared up after switching to Life's Abundance. I'm sold for life! Butterfly likes a little gravy on it!

Hi Jordan,
My mom works with a breed specific rescue, and they are covered up all the time. That's where she found me! It just isn't always possible to respond to every application with a lengthy personal e-mail within 24 hours. If an application comes in addressed to a specific dog and that dog has an adoption pending, the applicant is told so and asked to consider another dog. Please reconsider listing the Humane Society as your second choice. Many HS are kill shelters. Just do some homework and find a good breed specific rescue to appoint. Also let me point out there are many irresponsible and unappreciative applicants who waste the limited resources and time of the rescue volunteer. After putting in many hours arranging home visits with other volunteers often over great distances and coordinating all the many screenings, people will up and buy a puppy which, of course, means another shelter dog will die. As a rescuer, I must point out my first concern is for the dog in need. This is a labor of love for the rescuer and the applicant needs to apply fully conscious of that and willing to be patient. If they are, then the right match can be made and everybody wins. If they aren't, many deserving dogs lose out in the worst possible way...euthanasia.

I love your site...lots of very good info! But I can't figure out how to register to access certain areas. I'm on a mission to educate pet guardians about what is in their pet food. We've recently found Life's Abundance at HealthyPetNet...formulated by Dr. Jane Bicks, a holistic vet. My scottie Bestoink Dooley had terrible skin allergies and now he looks like a calendar dog after eating Life's Abundance! I mix it with some Solid Gold canned turkey and salmon and put a little gravy on it...yum! Do you profile Life's Abundance?
