Grooming > How many of you could groom your dog by yourself?

	I do all of my own grooming for my 3 girls. I did take my oldest dog to a groomer once & decided for the price I would try it myself. At first she looked pretty bad right after I gave her a haircut. But as someone else said it's hair so it'll grow back. I used to clip nails neither the dogs nor myself like that, I have cut a few quicks in my day. I now use a nail grinder & all of us like that much better. I cut & clipper hair, clean eyes, ears, grind nails & brush teeth. I guess I don't do to bad since my daughter's friend was studying to be a groomer & she said I did pretty well. She did give me a few tips. I have bought my own grooming table it helps alot. I guess over the last 6 years I have perfected my skills.

	My sisters & I love to go every where & any where we can with our parents. We just love to ride in the car. The best is when they take us on vacation with them. Last year I didn't get to go on vacation I had to stay home with my human sisters. Boy, was I mad at mom & dad. I left naughty present for them out side of their bedroom door when they got home. I got to go with them this year. We went to Pigeon Forge, TN we stayed in a cabin. I loved swimming in the Little Pigeon River. Can't wait to find out where we're going next year.

	I love to get dresses up in my bandannas! My mom has made a bunch of them for my sisters & I. We have them for all the holidays, seasons & just cute ones for everyday. Mom also made matching bows (materials) & matching (ribbon) bows for all of our bandannas. We look so adorable in them.

	I have been told not to use human products on the dogs. Their ph balance is much different than ours. They do make conditioners for dogs which I have found works well.

	I have done that more than once. I have found that a styptic pencil works well. I have use Kwick-stop & it works too. I wouldn't get the pads though it's a mess & you and everything else will turn yellow. I think the styptic pencil is much cheaper. I don't cut nail anymore I have found that I like to use the nail grinder much better.

	This year I'm going to be a beautiful black & purple butterfly with black antenna with purple butterflys on the ends. Everyone thinks my mom is nuts for dressing my sisters & I up all the time. Last year she made look alike dresses & braided yellow pigtails for all 3 of us girls.

	This year I'm going to be the most adorable red & black ladybug with black antenna. Last year my mom dressed my sisters & I as triplets. We all wore dresses & braided yellow pigtails that she made for us. The year before that I was a clown. Mom loves to dress us up, not just on halloween we have lots of bandanas & bows that she has made for us.

	I'm going to be the cutest yellow & black bumble bee with black antenna for halloween this year. My mom always dresses me & my sisters up for the trick-or-treaters & the halloween parade. Last year I wore a dress & yellow braided pigtails that my mom made for me. The year before I was a Harley Davidson Girl. I've even been a wizard before.
