Well put. I wasn't even looking at it that way, thanks for all the responses. If only there was a way to get these places closed down!

Yeah she does look and smell yeasty. I was afraid she'd need meds first before a food would help, but we will see. Maybe the new food and probiotic can get her well again. Please pray for her and hope it continues to help!

Solid Gold Barking at the Moon:

Ocean Fish Meal, Beef, Potatoes, Potato Protein, Canola Oil, Tomato Pomace, Natural Flavoring, Salmon Oil (source of DHA), Choline Chloride, Taurine, Dried Chicory Root, Parsley Flakes, Pumpkin Meal, Almond Oil, Sesame Oil, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Thyme, Blueberries, Cranberries, Carrots, Broccoli, Vitamin E Supplement, Iron Proteinate, Zinc Proteinate, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Potassium Iodide, Thiamine Mononitrate, Manganese Proteinate, Manganous Oxide, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin, Calcium Panthothenate, Manganese Sulfate, Sodium Selenite, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin), Riboflavin, Vitamin D Supplement, Folic Acid

I came across this and love the amount of protein that is in it. None of my dogs have tried it. I wonder how Brodie would do, but even if he couldn't eat it, I am sure it would be a good food to feed Allee and Bama from time to time. Just curious if any doggies eat this currently or have tried it? I know there is beef, and other ingredients that some doggies are allergic to....

Brodie eats NB sweet potato and fish bc of his skin allergy issues and tummy troubles. He doesn't do well with grains. And, seems to do the best on fish based foods. I also realize it's high in carbs and low in protein so I supplement sardines, salmon, cottage cheese, etc for protein.
Couldn't you supplement a few days a week with a source of meat? If he does the best on NB?
We are currently trying Wellness Core Ocean for Brodie and hoping it can be added in from time to time if he does well on it. I have to order it though, so that would only be when I can find low/free shipping. My petco only carries the tiny bags.

Me too, I really believe if she gets a lot better that he will realize he needs to keep her on a better food, and the only way I knew to get him to try it was by buying that bag of food for her! It's 15 pounds so hopefully will last her over a month or more and then if it helps maybe he will get some more and feed it to all 3 of his dogs!
