Hi all, just home from the doctor's and the car dent removal - he got delayed and that delayed us -

As with Rocky, I do have a sling of my friend's - we tried it but it seems to hurt him so with the two of us, we could get him up to his feet a little easier but Levi had also found one on line that is something that you wear all times - so that is an option. Just have never seen him that unable to do a thing - it is sad to see as with anything.

Hoping that Sully and Socks got their daddy into the doctor today. What a worry and on the weekend too. We thought of them last night.

Mom found she has lost some height and last bone scan, a little more loss bone in hips and spine - still considered osteopenia.

Hoping that the car is fixed for Takodad - we are to get some snow coming in after l AM til noon - maybe just ski country - only heard part of the weather.

Back later on - thanks for all the kind thoughts, seems so many are having things going on - how are you doing, Levi? You haven't posted on your health.

Morning all, a busy day yesterday, got things done but not all that was hoped for. Actually 2 FooFoo trees at Kohl's - but mom didn't take one - we have so much for decorations now and thought there were only 2 - someone would really be thrilled to get one of those as the other trees were piled high.

Takoda dad - we had our last turkey leftovers too yesterday. Glad you have the 4 orders on the pattern and that a student will be coming too. It is every bit that helps, even $10 set aside. Used to have Christmas clubs at the banks probably too much paperwork to be bothered now, but that small amount would add to something in a year. Our vet is a good vet - works with the large animals and the SPCA - and ER animal clinic - but he goes in full force and we have spent alot on things that we knew were needed already - Rocky has his Adequan every two weeks at $32.00 for one injection. That is needed and helpful. Your Christmas is what we will strive for, no fuss but enjoy the season - since we have family over and dinner - lots of kids. Sons enjoy seeing their decorations they made when they were little - mom hangs them all over - being a sentimental blob digs it all out.

Sully and Socks, oh we are sorry that daddy's legs were not good and he was wise to not sit in the emergency especially on a weekend - and a holiday oneat that .......hope that they will have him in to see the doctor soon. It is always on a holiday or a weekend, seems when we need some help - but all should be back to work today.
Mom has a Dr. appt. this morning and then to get the dent removed from the new car - at 11:00.
Your leaf sounds pretty - maybe you can spray it with something and get a frame at dollar store - they have some sweet ones - and hang in a little spot. There was a pink/orange tree near us beautiful and bright - I remember being in elementary school and would collect leaves on a walk l to make a leaf booklet - we'd see milk weed plants and the teacher would explain about the caterpillars and butterflies life cycle.
Have always enjoyed nature and used to love to go around the lakes with Rocky - and each season, see the changes in the plants - goldenrod, thistles with the yellow birds on them - berries on some plants.

Flicka mom glad you had Romeo's address - we saved all our envelopes and have to go through and put the lables in address book. Clutter - mom is getting worried she is some kind of hoarder - but guess it is from sentimental - cannot throw out this or that - silly I guess. No one wants all that old stuff when it comes down to it.

The black and red tree sounds very dramatic - we sort of like those retro tinsel ones too - just for fun
Looking forward to Burt and Dixie's photo with their tree!

Toffi will have a free catch to see what they can find - needed a fuller bladder evidentally to locate the spot for the urine sample.

So Rocky had a time last night, son and I were watching a program and he could not get up, pulling and crawling to get purchase in the hind legs - so we lifted him on his legs and he put his chin on the footstool to rest a minute - dad took him out for the last pee of the night and to bed.

It is getting to be time to accept reality.

Hope the day is a good one for all.

Morning - frost today - dad got all the lights and reindeer up yesterday so hoping that it all lights up ok.

DixiePearl - where did dad find your tree - is it pre-lite? We went on Michaels site - no luck finding a listing and there are some but really sort of expensive listed on different places. Anyhow, that is neat and look forward to seeing a picture!

Flickamom - we didn't go to the vet as he would do tests that would cost the world that we cannot afford right now - he is an over-the-top type vet that is not conservative.

We will keep a little notebook on it and as everyone has told us it was Not a seizure - except Hanna Bananna - whose dog has seizures, we will wait and see.

Mom sent cards out early as we have Christmas dinner here for about 20 - 25 family and need to clear the dining room table - we don't have all addresses for everypup - need DarlaMae's and Romeo's, but may have it as they sent a thank you note. Hoping that they will get the second opinion, poor sweetheart.

Lots of mail piled from yesterday

Wow, a Black FooFoo Tree - that is amazing! What color ornaments were on it? The one website had different ones on it - can't think of the name but was looking last year at it. Anyhow, we are getting our tree up by the 13th - or that week. Love the smell of the Frasier Fir and they last for a good 3 weeks. Long time girlfriend's family own a Christmas tree farm and we've gotten our tree there for years. Son did last year, too. So much going on in a short time and then it is over for another year. Husband's niece was first NY baby the year she was born and usually has a get together for NY that day but haven't heard anything of it. No one ventures out on NY eve in the family.

No word of Toffi and am hoping that all went ok - they were probably exhausted as late in the day and they work as well. That little girl we want her to feel better. She is so dear.

Sully and Socks, we did hear from Hanna yesterday, her mom said that is a type of seizure that Sarge had, from what I wrote to her and to keep notes on it - what was going on, loud noises, how long, etc.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day - weather is looking ok here - no rain - was sleeting yesterday for a while. Sarge's daddy wanted to know when the snow comes - well when it does, it's here for a long time we told him! He doesn't remember that winters go on in Buffalo.

Have a good day -

Sully and Socks - that made our Whole day - so funny ! And so nice that you went out and about yesterday in your finery - isen't that a wonderful way to spend a holiday and dad made a super yummy dinner - perfect Thanksgiving! So glad to read it all!

Levi, guess that Toffi will be awake too - it is finding the spot that is the trick and then a little jab - but they have to know what is going on and this is a good step - there are echo grams or tests like that but you are sedated for those, as you all would know. So glad you had your shopping trip and got your shopping done - bet the other items will be around before the big day though. Mom went to two stores - the lines were the problem so she gave her coupons to a lady who was thrilled to get them.

Flicka mom sounds like a wonderful meal and bet your friends will not be forgetting that for a long time - maybe they will make it an annual thing.

We had the leftovers today - mom has to go to a wake for her friend (in the picture - her daughter's fil passed on - quickly) and they are having a one day wake and service for him. So mom will get her friend at noon and then take her to the airport to go home - seems we already wrote this - so ignore if we did. That is tomorrow though and Sunday is decorating day inside. Was Thanksgiving late this year as it is only 3 weeks til Christmas - and we need to get moving here....the cards are mostly written and gone now - just a few left to finish up. May be the last year of paper cards for us, just ecards . They sure have some nice ones.

Well, that's about it for our day - was a long week with getting ready and serving and cleaning and now we are heading into the same for Christmas dinner - although others will bring dishes too.

Hugs to all - still laughing on Jenna's story!! laugh out loud

Morning all, well, our day was great and we certainly had plenty of food - glad that your pack, Levi, enjoyed their meal. Tastes change as they grow - sons would not eat salad and now you should see them make these masterpieces! We were like Takoda at our house - had to eat what was there or there was nothing - I developed a taste for some unusual things but to this day, am glad I like most things. Maybe not eel......eek
Flicka, so glad you dinner and friends was a nice one and from what you said, they had delicacies that were very nice. We ate at 2:00 and the son and wife went to her family at 5:00 - walked pups and then watched a movie with Sarge and his daddy and Rocky. When I said the blessing at dinner, it was truly a blessing to say all our family was there for the first time in 10 years for Thanksgiving.

Takodad - a wonderful day at the Shelter and so glad that Takoda was there - bet the kids just loved him so much!

Hi to Hayden, Jenna, Romeo - have a safe day today.

Dixie and Burt, well that is a shame but has happened here - one night was a real catastrophe with me - and since I don't get up during the night - no one guessed I needed to go out - desperately - the rugs were cleaned after - as there were more than one - not to be graphic - anyhow hoping you feel ok.

Today is Toffi's urine pull at 3:00 - I believe, they put a needle in the bladder and draw a sample. Keeping her calm is of course, important and her daddy will be there. They don't want to sedate her as that does not work well with her at all. This will show something hopefully - it's finding the right spot to take the sample that takes a little time. hughugToffihughug

Thoughts of DarlaMae and her family yesterday. We just found a friend of ours with 3 at home lost his job 2 months ago and finally told his mother and family - was hoping to get something else. Times are very challenging and there are really no guarantees.

Mom has to take her friend (in the picture on my page) to her daughter's FIL wake tomorrow and then to the airport to go home - she has been here since Monday - they are have a service at the wake.
Live each day and we forget to be thankful for health. Top of the list.

Got to go - Levimom - can't wait to hear about your day later on - mom will make a few stops for the Doorbuster's - especially at the last locally owned dept. store here - they have a soft spot in her memory for christmas in the past where her parent's shopped.

Hugs and love wave

Morning to all, sounds like everypup and family have things ready to go for later on - we realized that we should do the cleaning before the day we have to do cooking, too.....plus mom ran to the store to exchange something and only 2 left so glad that she did that.
Seems there will be alot of bargains to be had - we won't be shopping, maybe go out later and walk around in the afternoon. Mom has to take her friend to the airport in the morning at 6:50 - she is in the picture on our page with her mom and aunt.
Made some packaged cookie mix - Pumpkin - that is a new one and looks pretty good for an easy cookie. With the pies and we think son and wife will bring a deserts too - there will be lots. They will take them on to her folks when done here. Sarge's dad is doing alot of working out at the new gym and taking walks - he said he has to get in shape. It's easy in Buffalo to sit, so have to keep on moving and not let those calories add up as they do.

Wishing all a beautiful day - your friendship is so very dear to us and our daily messages mean alot. Cannot imagine coming here and no-one was writing.

Jenna, such a pretty picture - we are going to put on our page if we can - see you all later hughug Buh ens hughughug

Hi all, whew mom finally sat down - she made her stuffing, green bean casserole, pumpkin cookies and giblets for Sarge and I for a little treat. Dad has the turkey all ready to put in the oven about 9:00 tomorrow - we'll be thinking of Takoda and family at the shelter about that time - what a nice day and a wonderful meal to come home to later on.

Flicka and Lucas we are glad youo sent to the doctors and have medicine to ease the discomfort for your eyes. Mom's friend was going to the doctor today too - good that they can get people set to enjoy the holiday.

We know all are busy just wanted to say a quick hello and wishing a very Happy Thanksgiving to all, with many blessings and grateful hearts that we have friends and family.

Morning all, Flicka and Lucas, we were thinking of you and forgot to say yesterday to have a good doctor visit for your eyes today - it's at 9:00 I think you wrote. Do they itch? Sarge's one eye has a discharge and we have drops for that - we seem to have more medicine than the pharmacy - really -

Beautiful picture Levi pak, you are a dear family. These are the wonderful years to treasure - growing years and all are home.

Takodad, if we were closer, we would be coming to your house for sure! What time do you go to the Shelter?

Mom put a door dent in the new car with the other one yesterday and went to a few places to see if they could fix it - well, not til Monday - so she will learn to be more careful. Trying to get Sarge and Rocky out the back way and just hit lightly but was enough to leave a little dent. Guess they pop it out from what we were told.

Thanks to everypup for our Thanksgiving wishes and we are hoping for a wonderful day for all - those who are having friends, they are in for a treat - Flickamom, and Sully and Socks - you are having the neighbor over, too - your cream cheese pie sounds delicious. And Wendy and Chris, that will be nice. Sorry to hear of the neighbor surgery and the sweet pup. Bless their hearts.

And Flicka mom - your recipe for the stuffing is So yummy sounding with lots of good things in it. Mom will make a bread one as son and wife are not as adventurous as Sarge's daddy and mom - but would love to make it for ourselves. Grandma used to use oysters in her dressing. We have chestnuts here, definately seasonal and the store is a big chain which makes a difference. Dad baked a few the other nite.

Good that you talked to DarlaMae - our love is with her and we have good thoughts for them. They are good people and caring hearts for others.

Hi to Jenna - you sure are lovely all groomed and the fur just sparkles!
Maybe you should head on to Takoda's house....would be worth the trip!

Burt and Dixie-did you change your training sessions to Monday now?
Sounds like lots of fun - the neighbor BlackPearl is going for training finally - they have kept her in the house for a year or so - and just out in the back - no walks or anything - we asked if we could walk her and they said she was too wild. So now we see them walking and riding with her in the car -

Hugs to Hayden and mom, and sweet Romeo, we are hoping you get a second opinion on your leg.

Well, sorry if we missed anything but we enjoy reading all the messages and appreciate the good thoughts -
and the FooFoo Tree - Dec. lst!! Woohoo!
