Flax seed oil. My mom gets mine from walmart. only about 1/4 tsp per day for us 10lb chihuahuas. Mom puts it in the food and mixes it up each day in only one meal. We also get kelp. It has helped me get my pigmentation back on my nose. Great stuff.

I had the surgery back in 04. I had an eye specialist. She tacked it back to the bone and it healed just great. There was a 50-50 chance of it happening to my other eye, but so far so good. I looked funny with the e-collar on but I still ran and played.

I am not an expert, but my dog will uncover some old dog biscuit bones and I get them and throw them away. I am worried about e-coli from the dirt. But that is just me. But if your dog ate it , all you can do is watch and wait. Good luck.

My male chihuahua named Rocky was diagnosed with ibd in Feb. After almost losing him and $2000 dollars later, I am cooking his food. We went through so much medicine and was finally going to give steroids, when I put my food down. I did not do the steroids. I was tired of pumping so many meds down a little guy. I did some research on the web and now I make my own food. He was last on science ID canned and dry. A very good food.
I went to ground lamb. It was a protein he had not had. I prepare some brown rice, then I add a pound of ground lamb(grass fed, no hormones or antibiotics), 2 cups of mixed low salt green beans, fresh cut carrots, and peas. A little corn oil, a tiny garlic powder, a tiny dry parsley. One beaten egg. It cooks down and smells great.
When I feed it I add a ground up vitamin for dogs and 1/2 teaspoon flax seed oil. He has only vomited once since I began. He had been vomiting non-stop before. My other dog loves it so she gets the same now too. They are the most active and happiest I have seen. I advised my vet and he wants to support us in any way. And he looked over my recipe and approved. But Rocky was having loose stool, he researched and advised to give 2 T canned pumpkin in his meal. Now he is regular and has normal stool. I knock on wood each day and hope their good health continues. I hope it helps someone out there.
