When we got our first Cavalier at 4 months "Bentley" took one day to potty train - due to the breeder doing such a good job. Our 2nd Cavalier "Lexus" took about a month to potty train. Any good dog book will tell you that you are the one responsible - don't punish the dog - look for the signs or establish a time to go out -when your Cavalier takes care of business - be reponsive - praise works-harsh words don't. Both of our Cavaliers are very sentitive - so we talk normally to them. It will all work out !

My favorite Dog is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - and I have two of them. The best dogs I've ever had - very smart- easy to train- very loving dogs - couldn't ask for better dogs- they love you and want love in return. They are pretty easy dogs- I happen to have 2 tri-c0lor Cavalier's and they are superb.

And if you are a single male - they are a babe magnet - women love them -

Well first she is 4 1/2 months old - and is recovering from a broken leg - why not go easy on her for a few more months. Perhaps it is painful for her- did you think of that? Dogs remember things that hurt them - so go easy - have shorter walks and think of your dog more - of what you can do for her to get over this.

She looks to you for love and protection..

We have two Cavalier "picky Eaters" I guess it comes with the breed as both our dogs do not like eating from bowls - go figure.

We did try "Hund-N-Flocken" both dogs eems to like it - but then they still get picky snoopy
