You might also check out Horizon Legacy dog food. It is a great food and doesn't contain any canola. Horizon is a small Canadian company that uses locally sourced ingredients, but their foods may be harder to find since they are not a big company. They have been around for quite awhile though, so they are not a new company either. We use their foods (Legacy and Amicus) and are very happy with them.

Horizon Legacy is a very good food too. The only problem is that you might have to order it online from places like petflow.com. I get it locally, but Horizon is a small company and there are not a lot of places that sell it.

Take a look at Horizon Legacy. It is grain free and potato free. It is made by a small Canadian company and it is a very good food. We use it in our rotation and like it a lot.

Fromm has good grain free foods and has never had a recall. Horizon is also very good. We rotate between Fromm formulas and Horizon Legacy and Horizon's Amicus.

My dogs do well on Fromm and Horizon foods. Horizon makes a Legacy Puppy Food. I believe Fromm is all life stages. When my last 2 dogs were puppies, I fed them Nature's Variety and they did fine on that too.

My dogs seem to do well on Fromm and Horizon foods. I feed mostly Horizon Legacy, Horizon Amicus, and Fromm 4 Star Nutritionals. They love the Fromm Duck and Sweet Potato. Horizon also makes a less expensive grain free food called Pulsar. My dogs do fine on that too. We don't feed the salmon formulas though because one of my dogs doesn't do well on foods with high amounts of salmon.

We rotate foods, some grain free and some with some grains. We don't have any problems do that. My dogs never really did well on ANY food made by Diamond though. It always gave them horrific gas! I stay away from ALL foods made by Diamond. A lot of dogs do well on TOTW though. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Fromm is a great food and a great company. Another good company that makes good foods is Horizon. I rotate between the Horizon Legacy, Horizon's Amicus, and Fromm 4-Star formulas.

Another food you might look into that is also made by Horizon is their Pulsar line. It is a single protein source grain free food. You might also consider NutriSource. They also have some affordable grain free formulas.
