So one of my dogs has been having a runny jelly like mucous in their poo. My dogs are always together and I didnt see who did it. Thankfully it was on the tile. But they eat raw, the last few days chicken quarters. Ideas?

Well feeding raw has become my new obsession. Although I haven't started yet, But I bought A LOT of meat and a great grinder a cleaver some new stainless steal bowls for easy sanitizing etc. But I want to finish off the dog food I have right now. Ive been talking about it with my best friend and she had a dog that is pregnant. And wants to take the plunge with me with her 3 dogs. Although she is afraid switching diets might impact or stunt the growth of he pups and the health of the mommy. The momma is about 5-6 weeks along. Would changing the diet be harmful to the mother or pups?

Hey guys, Im the newest part of The Brat Pack. I was rescued from a nasty breeder/puppy mill. I had such bad teeth I just got a major dental and lost most of my teeth. I still have my canines and very back molars. Im worried since I don't have many teeth I wont be able to chew through bone/tough meat. Would you suggest supplementing with bone meal or getting a grinder? If ground would the bones be small enough to just swallow? If so whats a good quality cheaper grinder? Momma was looking up the good ones the grind bone and they range from $400-600 shock

Just curious I know dogs need a variety of meats as well as organs. Give me an idea of what and how much you feed every day on a weekly basis?

How much on average do you spend weekly on your raw?

Thanks so much Charlie Onyx and Chloe I will read more in depth of the link attached. And thank you so much for all your advice. My biggest concerns are choking, bones being soft enough for my dogs especially my 6 and 7 lb Yorkies. And how much this is really going to cost because money is tight right now. Im going to try it. Ill keep everyone updated as to how it is going.

If I were to feed necks or backs is that considered meat and bone? How hard are the bones in the neck?
