A shar pei isnt a bad choice it fits most of your requirments they may require more ear care but you may no that I would be careful with who you get them from for what you want as one from bad breeding will not be this way but I can admit mine is a therapy dog and great with everything and everyone but she was raised for this

I recently found a way to afford feeding taste of the wild I currently feed 4health chicken and rice but my worry is the food may be to rich for one of my dogs she is 11 and not extremely active is switching her food a good idea

Both my dogs reacted differently to horses but both are use to them and around them regularly Bailey was never fazed by them and she has been going to the barn with me since she came home
Opal had a very bad reaction for whatever reason she started barking and lunging she was on leash thankfully since she literally lost her mind at the horse with alot of training she is know fine with them and regularly goes to the barn know

As long as you and your dog are having fun go for it I started bailey in rally at 7 and she did compete in rally and beginner novice obedience this year at 10 and my other dog Opal started in rally at 5 and is competing in excelence at 7 and will soon move to perfered agility as well so it is posible with older dogs but only if you and the dog are having fun

Thanks Cohen she was at the vet the week after and is fine didnt hurt herself I will start with that but even when she is free while I set up equipement she will freely jump it without and coaxing or command and even then she over jumps we only work at 12 inches which is her jump height

Opal has had an issue with rushing and over jumping recently and im not sure how to fully fix it this is the result of a accident at our last show she slipped or didnt take off right and went head first into the jump she got up and did jump but did overjump it and has been ever since I really want to fix this I am afraid she is going to hurt herself
